Brian Skerven, Park Place HOA President here with some community updates.

I hope everyone is having a good winter and enjoying the cooler temps and rain we have been getting.

After about 6 months of waiting we have finally been given a date for our neighborhood bulk trash pick-up. Park place is scheduled to receive dumpsters on April 8th. They will be removed April 11th so if you have things to throw away be sure not to miss this window.

I thought it might be a good idea to schedule our neighborhood-wide garage sales the weekend before pick-up. Maybe that way we can keep a few things out of the landfill and really de-clutter and simplify our lives. Look for either an email or postcard about these events soon.

In case you missed it, and based on the attendance I’m assuming you did, we didn’t have enough votes to reach quorum at the annual meeting. Because of this we were unable to vote in new board members. If you are interested in joining the board please come to the February meeting. New members can be added by a simple vote of the existing board to fill vacancies.

We have a few large projects on the agenda for 2024; painting, cul de sacs and pool fence improvements. If you’d like to give input or are just curious how your dues are spend I encourage you to come by a meeting or reach out through this website.
